Playing It Cool is one of a few songs written about the band's relationship with the music industry. This was a part in our music which was exciting but frustrating as usual. Heavily influenced by Sting (Englishman in New York) kind of for a reference to the inside story of the song. We've had many relationships which have never lived up to what we hoped but we've always struggled to know how to be cool about it all and be anything but ourselves. Thankfully the experiences has never pulled us apart and if anything have just brought us together to create more music as it will be our escape
